he Peninsula Depot is an information and orientation facility run by the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and a great place to buy tickets for your CVNP journeys aboard the train. It was originally developed to help visitors explore Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, the Village of Peninsula and the Ohio & Erie Canalway. The building is an original depot from the Valley Railway, which opened in 1880. Originally the Boston Mill Depot, it was moved to Peninsula in the early 1970s.
