Faces of The 330
Located in Akron’s own Historic Brewing district, in the former Burkhardt’s Brewery, Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. was established in 1997. The local craft brewer proudly contributes to the community through many events and programs, including efforts of good stewardship and recycling for sustainable businesses. In 2015, Thirsty Dog sent over 1 million pounds of spent brewer’s grain to Wagon Trails Animal Park to feed the animals. With a fine selection of products ranging from ales, lagers, porters, stouts, Belgian style beers and sours to limited release and specialty items created for community partners, Thirsty Dog is now available in over 14 states and was named USA Brewery of the year in 2014 and Ohio Brewery of the year in 2015. Thirsty Dog’s brewers, accountants, biologists, microbiologists, sales reps, packaging crews, shippers, and electricians raise a toast to all of the people who make The 330 a great place to work and live with their 330 IPA.
