I know what you are probably asking yourself - what in the heck is mead? Regarded as the ancestor of all fermented beverages, mead, which is also known as honey wine, is considered one of the oldest alcoholic beverages dating back as far as 7000 B.C.
By using the finest raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized honey as well as fruits, spices, herbs, and other natural ingredients, Crafted Artisan Meadery create an experience of taste like no other. The Portage County meadery uses the best locally sourced ingredients and pride themselves on providing the highest quality Mead to their customers.
Currently their hours of operation will be limited at first to 11 a.m - 7 p.m. on Saturdays.. The business will have a tasting room and bottles for sale.
