Canton Charge
The Canton Charge have announced a brand new fan section within the Memorial Civic Center called “The Cavalry”. Beginning for the 2012-13 Charge season, this area will be a haven for the most passionate and vocal fans in the NBA Development League to spread energy throughout the arena to all Charge fans.
To celebrate this new section, the Charge will be giving 20 deserving fans tickets to be the first members within “The Cavalry”. Fans can win one of these 20 tickets by either submitting a video clip or through an open audition. The 20 ultimately chosen will each receive one ticket to all 24 home games in section 7, where they will be expected to be at each and every game in Charge gear or wine and gold colors, proudly and vocally supporting their home team.
Applicants will be judged based off of their reasoning as to why they think they should be chosen as a member of “The Cavalry”. Entrants are encouraged to be unique, positive, enthusiastic, vocal and respectful in their videos.
Fans can submit their contact information along with a YouTube link to their maximum 60-second video entries as to why they deserve to be a part of “The Cavalry” from now until Monday, November 12 th via e-mail to cavalry@cantoncharge.com . In person auditions will take place on Tuesday, November 7 th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at the Memorial Civic Center. Fans can send their contact information and RSVP for the live auditions by e-mailing cavalry@cantoncharge.com .
Fans wanting to guarantee a spot in “The Cavalry” can purchase a special $99 ticket package with access to all 24 home games.
Season tickets are also on sale now and start as low as $5 per game. Season ticket benefits include an invitation to exclusive team events like the draft party, discounts on official team merchandise, participation in special on-court game-night activities, the ticket exchange and donation program, access to discounts and special offers at
